The openings of these barrels have a fine (BSP) screw thread, so that most accessories can be mounted directly without using an adapter. The small 3/4" opening is usually used for venting/aeration. For easy opening and closing, we advise you to order a barrel screw cap wrench. In addition, keep in mind that the drums are made of untreated steel on the inside and are not suitable for foodstuffs.
