Please note: this is a B-choice article! This means that there may be dents and/or larger irregularities in the barrel. Not the most visually beautiful, but very competitively priced.

Steel open top drums are increasingly used indoors as a flower pot, laundry basket or trash can. All very well possible, but keep in mind that these are industrial barrels. Unevenness in the paint cannot be ruled out and the barrels are made of untreated steel on the inside.

If you are going to convert the barrel into a BBQ, apply a heat-resistant coating. If you want to use the barrel as a flower pot, apply a rust-resistant coating before use or use an inner pot. Because the barrels are made of untreated steel, they can rust otherwise.
